Our Methodology

How CertBlaze sources, verifies, and maintains its certification study materials — explained transparently so you can judge the quality before you buy.

Why we publish this page

Study materials are only useful if they are accurate and current. We think you deserve to know exactly how ours are made before you trust them with your exam preparation — so this page documents our full process, including its limits. Every exam page also shows a "last updated" date and offers a free 15-question sample so you can verify quality yourself.

1. Sourcing

We collect practice questions from recent, publicly available exam discussions and community contributions. Our goal at this stage is coverage: capturing the topics, scenario styles, and difficulty that candidates actually report encountering, across every domain of the exam.

We organize raw questions by exam and by domain, and align them to the official skills measured and domain weightings published by the certification vendor, so the balance of our material reflects the real exam blueprint rather than whatever happened to be most discussed.

2. Answer identification and review

Each question goes through a structured review to identify the most likely correct answer and draft a clear explanation of the underlying concept. Our content team works through the full question bank systematically — and treats every draft as provisional until it passes the official-source verification step below.

3. Verification against official sources

Draft answers are cross-referenced against the certification vendor's own documentation and learning resources, including Microsoft Learn, AWS Training and Certification, Google Cloud certification resources, Databricks certification, and CompTIA certification pages. Official documentation is always the tie-breaker: where a community-sourced answer conflicts with the vendor's own material, the vendor wins.

4. Explanations, not just answers

For each question we write an explanation of why the correct answer is correct — and, where it helps, why the common distractors are wrong. The aim is understanding you can carry into the exam room and into the job, not answer-key memorization.

5. Keeping materials current

Certification exams change: domains are reweighted, objectives are added, and exams retire. We refresh our materials to track those changes and we display the last-updated date on every exam page, along with the official domain breakdown, so you always know how current the material is and where to focus your study time.

Who reviews our content

Our study materials are reviewed by the CertBlaze content team, which is responsible for the sourcing, verification, and update process described above. CertBlaze is operated by MakeY s.r.o., a company registered in Prague, Czech Republic. Have a question about how a specific answer was reached? Email us at [email protected] and we will explain our reasoning or correct it if we got it wrong.

What we do — and don't — claim

In the interest of full transparency:

  • We are independent. CertBlaze is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft, Amazon/AWS, Google, Databricks, CompTIA, or any other certification vendor. All vendor and certification names are the property of their respective owners.
  • No pass guarantee. No study resource can guarantee a passing score. We always recommend pairing our practice questions with the vendor's official learning path and hands-on practice.
  • We correct mistakes. If you find an answer or explanation you believe is wrong, tell us — corrections are part of the process, and the free sample lets you check quality before purchasing.
